The Raleigh area's sunrise event ended with almost clear skies and only a bank of clouds out toward the horizons. Not so, its beginning... with blue skies on high, the sky served up a few raindrops and some interesting and colorful cloud formations, seen here at twilight's onset (and better large on black). Great fun!
