There weren't many clouds left in the Raleigh area sky this morning... most had been blown out by the strong winds by twilight's onset... but the few that remained provided a nice pallet for the sun's early rays. The first image shows the view just before the sun topped the building-horizon (better large on black), and below that are #2 the early twilight and #3 post-rise views (both better LOB, twilight, here and post-rise, here). Sweet!
