The Raleigh area saw cloudy skies and light rain this morning, so here are a couple stand-in shots from my archive, taken just over a year ago on May 9, 2010... the top image shows this bona fide flamer a few minutes before sunrise proper (better large on black), and the panoramic view above showing what a small portion of the sky was involved in the show (also better LOB).
