sunflowers past their bloom

took this today, sunday, on the way back from some shopping...i had peter and casey in the car...but, i was driving...so we stopped to take this photo. i was standing in very wet mud to take it. good thing i was wearing my trusty boots! :-)

these are evocative and stirring. I love the middle shot. the last one too. In the black and white, I might like to see it cropped with a little less sky.

This effect brings a whole new perspective. I love the composition of the second with the bulk of the shot the flowers and the shed in the far background.
