I always wonder about people dining along. It tugs t the heart strings, even though they could quiet possibly be the happiest person on earth for all I know. It reminds me of a story of an old man who's wife had died. Every night he would set a place for her at the dinning table. He would spend time looking at the empty chair and plate. i just love reading all of your comments. all the different thoughts and views. some of you could feel the sadness that came through from this place. a place where i am sure that there was much sadness. this was taken in the small jail in an open space between the two padded cells where the guard/caretaker came and went. the very small wooden jail was housed and displayed in the yard of the museum of history in the town of kaikaura, new zealand. sunshineand · 2008-05-03: 09:10
