This is the first 21st December where I've had the day off, the weather's been good and I've had the means to get out of the house! I took myself over to Newgrange (which lucky for me is only twenty minutes away) for the winter solstice sunrise - it was a really special morning,
In the afternoon my Dad and I went to Dowth (another passage chamber, but much less well known) for sunset. There was a great crowd, and a fantastic sunset.
