I can't claim these as my own!

My mother took these in the snow last week - I left too early to see it in the daylight.
We used to get heavy falls of snow every year when I was younger, which would guarantee us at least one day off school, as the primary school was at the top of a hill and accessed by teeny tiny roads. We would get (washed out!) fertiliser bags from the farm and take them up the hill at the back of the house, where all the local kids would form a train and go flying down the hill, only to climb back up and then slide down again. One year two lads took it to the extreme and got the bonnet of a car, sat on the inside and sailed down the hill, only to go right through the hedge and land on the road the other side :D
