This week is
Heritage Week in Ireland and across Europe. I used to work in
Mellifont Abbey so I pottered down there this afternoon, although it was
flogging rain, as has been the usual for the last forever. There was a falconry display on there this afternoon where I met this barn owl, and got to hold his friend Bart. The poor birds didn't feel like flying much in the rain so they just hunkered down on their posts and wished for five o'clock to roll around... pretty much what I've been doing at work all week. :D
