Day two on the Roman Holiday started out cloudy although we managed to dodge the half hour of rain. The sun came out at the Pantheon so we sat by the fountain with some icecream to soak it all up.
The light got very weird towards sunset and we were treated to a spectacular thunderstorm for the rest of the night - we don't get lightning as crazy as we saw in Ireland! I didn't even try to take a picture, just leaned out of the window and took it all in.
