Today I made shortbread stars and gingerbread men. I'd made shortbread before but had never made gingerbread men - I had great fun decorating them! They got a bit fat in the oven; some of them morphed into strange blobs with heads!
edit: tried one; they taste like gingernut biscuits so mission accomplished! Don't know why they have to be as hard as the hobs of hell though!

shortbread stars... I love it!! Why in my country they don't make it. Well... I can make it alone... but I need the recipe. Those pictures make me hungry...
