Day-old ducklings

2009.07.11


11 ducklings hatched out yesterday and are now my favourite animals ever. They're so so small I nearly forget that they're not toys. My sister picked these two up and they willingly modelled for me for a few minutes, although they're still under the red lamp to keep them warm so we returned them to it quickly.
I've a feeling I'll be taking a lot of photos of these over the next week (which I have off from work!)
