I agree with capturing the spirit...you can tell that child is engrossed and fascinated... Great shot.

His hand extended, and his tucked body so small between the two giants - this is charming. There are lots of light and dark contrasts in this shot, which keeps the eye moving through the image. The goat with horns framed in the top rectangle is something you discover as you look deeper. Reminds me of going to the zoo with my nieces when they were small.

Wonderful capture! I think kids have a great kinship with animals that most people lose when they grow up. We forget how to "talk to the animals". :)

Yes, this is the same part that I love - the joys and the smiles that the children have when they touch these animals - but I wonder if we should have one for adults, so they can go just to see these and what we are doing to destroy them - there has to be a balance, and that is what nature teaches us all!! Great work and great shot!!
