Card holder removed.

I know...I know...there are strong feelings about using Photoshop...but if you can, put aside your feelings about image manipulation and give me your opinion about which image is actually better.

I really like the first image...but I find the card holder behind the roses distracting. I wish I would have noticed it at the time and just moved it...but since I didn't I tried a couple of things to deal with the distraction.

1st I used blur to reduce the perceived depth of field ...almost a lensbaby effect.
2nd I used the photoshop patch tool to remove the card holder. Since I know it was there I can tell that the image was manipulated...but I think I did a pretty good job of removing it.

I think I prefer the 3rd image but I would love to hear your feedback

I prefer 2 also ... nice job and do what you want to do ..it's YOUR art ... no one should put you in a box..:)!!!

I like the 2nd too. The card holder doesn't bother me.

Thanks...I agree about #2. After looking at these and thinking about it...#2 is more balanced than #3. Removing the cards holder makes the photo heavy on the left side. #2 keeps the balanced feel of the photo but blurs the unimportant elements to reduce distraction from the main subject.
