Two new shots with a new technique I am trying to learn. It is really a combination of two techniques.
1st - I convert the color image to b&w using Photoshop Channel Mixer converting with the blue channel.
2nd I then use a blur technique to soften the image but come back and remove the effect from eyes, mouth, nose, and hair to keep those areas sharp.
I think I really like the look of it. It is almost a cross between using a lensbaby and a soft focus filter.
