Sometimes one has to take a trip out of the Twin Cities area to really appreciate just how really big Minnesota really is. Today, I went up to the township of St. Francis for my wedding business and it turned out to be a lot more driving then I thought. This area truly was farm country with a lot of horse and cattle ranches. I began to look for more exotic venues such as ostrich and buffalo ranches. Didn't see any but I felt this town was the place for it. Weather was beautiful.
Saw some great photo's by a friend of their trip to the American southwest. All I can say is WOW. What mountains and scenic country. They used trip planning software by Microsoft on a laptop which used GPS to plot and track their journey. The software package plus GPS cost only around $139.
