I couldn't make it to Japan or Washington, DC this year to photograph the annual blooming of the pink Cherry blossums. However I did discover that in Minnesota we have the Crabapple tree which just like Japan's Cherry blossums bloom for only two weeks out of the year and are every bit as enigmatic and beautiful.
