excellent drawings! this post reminded me of a quote that i loved for a long time. it is from a children's book called Momo by the german writer Michael Ende. "Life holds one great but quite commonplace mystery. Though shared by each of us and known to all, seldom rates a second thought. That mystery, which most of us take for granted and never think twice about, is time. Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it. Time is life itself, and life resides in the human heart."

a virtual garden of time. I like it. I think this must be pretty impressive in a huge format - lets say in a wall size

Very intriguing the things you use to create your light drawings. I would never have imagined images such as those above could have been produced in that manner until I saw them. As for your musings about time....sometimes I wish I had the intelligence to comprehend it's true nature....very heavy stuff.

Great I like no 3 with no numbers evident but points. Strange when I read your article somehow I thought about my childhood when I used to complain that my soup never seemed to finish . We had homemade soup every day , I was a fussy eater but I would take my soup. That is exactly what I miss now a great bowl of my Mum's homemade soup mmmmmm!!!!! Maybe has nothing to relate to your words though . I suppose we all have different ways of interpretating written words.

Very cool images Ted. And such a though provoking post too. For me I seem to always underestimate time, so I live my life as if I've never got enough of it.

I didn't notice the post, thinking it was the butterfly... LOL! I'm amazed by your pictures... I like them all. It's a great work! And your words... I can perfectly understand. It's very clear to me the difference between how I feel and understand time now and how I did it when I was a child. But everything changes... I never use watch, it's a good way for not to be tie to time (oh! this is a tongue twister!!). thanks to my trips to Sahara desert I learned how important is to enjoy life and not to be worry about time. And moreover, I am reconnected. Now I know that time is a human invention. We put limits to ourselves... Time is a barrier and we can break it. Great post, Ted. I really like it. And I add a picture to my favs (cause I like them all) and I want to remember this post. Thanks for sharing!

This year has given me the best time of my life ..... but also the worst :-( Thanks to the new job i can get my mind of certain things (to a certain extent) And time is really flying by now too, before i realise it the week is over again, just a pity the weekend flies by to and i can't seem to be able to catch up properly any more :-( Oh well, goes to show again that everything has it's positive and negative side. Cool shots Ted, love this set!
