I love this angle, almost directly vertical. You've captured the old textured wood and stress cracks along with glimpses of the previous grandeur of the building. I'm not clear about the B/W part you indicate. (If you get a chance, can you elucidate for my edification?) And see? You use a Nikon D200 with remarkable results. I can use a Nikon D200; well, it's not the camera. It's the artist.

And what a building to emphasise your thought... LastFrontier has picked up all those aspects I noticed too - the cracks, the wood, and the strong vertical lines: is that piece of wood in the middle acting as a prop?! Wonderful shot. And I really like the sentiment. :)

great image , seems a bit over sharpened and if you did a lens correction in PS it could be a tad straighter
