Angie (of days gone by) and I went to see Dreamgirls at the Peace Center, and we sat with Anna (also of days gone by), and it was amazing. Before I left, my mother said, "This is the highlight of your summer," and she was right. The show was amazing. It was what I needed after this week.

I said to Anna, "This is the first musical I've seen since March!"

And she said, "Most people would say, 'This is the first musical I've seen since 1996.' But not us. We think it's a long time when we haven't seen one since March."

And honestly, I'm glad to be one of those types of people.
