Just catching up. This really tested the limits of my little point and shoot. I really needed a nice DSLR with a honkin' lens as demonstrated by one of the other observers. :)

This was an evening show, and i will be posting more in a few hours. There was a storm system coming in that limited a few of the demonstrations and provided a beautiful ever changing sky. It was a great time to sit with friends, food and a couple of bottles of wine.

I forced the contrasts on some of the pics to really show the patterns.

Nice shots, explanation and demonstration. Here (and elsewhere, I suspect), size does matter. I recognise the 100-400 lens wielded by subject in the last one. I bet he's a got a very small.... revenant · 2009-07-26: 23:47
