After thinking about it for a while, I like the final version very much.Without the leaves, the beauty of the tree is the shape of its branches and in the last picture, that's what my eyes are drawn to. Good job!

Well, shucks. Synchronicity and all that, but you can tell that Mia Culpa broad to stop messing with your excellent images and crops. (Be careful, though; she's got a big sister: Mia Maxima Culpa.) Seriously, it's a fascinating workflow. Is the end result what you had in mind when you took it?
