Symptoms of Jet Lag

My dad flew in from the Philippines the night before and was busy with business meetings for a good portion of the day. By the time he got to my place he was exhausted. He was talking to me about a text message he was typing out a reply to when he just sort of went quiet. When he didn't respond to me calling his name, I came out of the kitchen to see him in a position that appeared as though he were reading something on his phone. It was his deep breathing that clued me in to the fact that he had drifted off to sleep mid-conversation and mid-texting.
