Mules needed a lot less encouragement on these bridges than goats did.... getting goats to cross a bridge, required dragging the lead goat by the horns, out onto the span.

Mule trains are ubiquitous in the Annapurna region of Nepal due to a lack of improved roads and steep terrain. For some reason I took a lot of photos of these creatures at work.
