I took the day off work yesterday to get a few things done, one of them being, get a haircut. I didn't go to this olde timey barbershop, though.
I did go to a place on the same street as this barbershop and passed it going from my car to tenpachi http://www.tenpachisalons.com/ for a trim. |
Liz's daughter Marin loved this singing deer head "Buck". It sang Elvis tunes and "Sweet Home Alabama" all through our lunch.
|
Mmmmm, home made Maryland crab soup.
(Liz and I both had colds, so no pictures of us with our red noses, sorry ;-) ) |
This is the old Rec Pier. You may know it as the police precinct building in the TV series "Homicide, Life on the Street", OR as the Performing Arts High School building in the movie "Step Up"

Hey MizB, thanks for a tour of a lovely part of your town. What are ''coddies''?

Hey soul- I think you posted while I was writing in my captions. A coddie is a Baltimore thing- a bar snack that basically a little fried fish cake (see caption above).

Crab soup--you'd think with all of the King and Dungeness crab we have near Seattle that you'd see it around here but I've never heard of it.
