July 2- upgrade! and last day

I forgot to post the big news ;-). On Monday I upgraded to iPhone. I got the "cheapie" $99 3G one. So far I am lovin' it!

July 2 was our last day on the Reese Witherspoon movie. When we were done restoring the last location, we stopped at Tryst (a hip coffee place) in Adams Morgan for a cafe cubano. They serve it with animal crackers. :-)

We would pass these weird bunker things on our way coming and going from the warehouse to Adams Morgan. None of us could figure out what they were... maybe Liiisa knows??

Time to start looking for more employment- that said, I am in a much better place, both financially*, and emotionally than I was two months ago, so I think this time, I will actually take the time to enjoy myself a bit, after all it's summer! Past summers, I had been so swamped with work and work travel, that I barely got to enjoy it much of the time, so I might as well take advantage.
First off, am thinking BOLT bus to NYC week after next....

* (Okay, so I still need to be frugal and stretch the funds, and the car needs repair, but close to a whole month's work at DC wages was a nice shot in the bank account I didn't have before)
