August 16- seen at the market and at home

Little doggie in line behind me at the pickle man at the Farmer's Market this morning. Her name is Hudson.

I stopped to drink my iced coffee and have a snack before I schlepped everything back to the car. Got to chatting to a nice older Vietnamese lady- she insisted on showing me the enormo-eggplant she got for $1. It was pretty enormous!

All of this is from our garden.... I'm gonna make chicken enchiladas with green sauce with the tomatillos this evening and give my mom some of those tomatoes when I see her on Tuesday.
