August 30- VFest
2009.08.30
The Virgin Mobile Festival was free this year! We had dibs on tickets because we had paid to go the last 2 years in a row. They changed the venue from Pimlico Racetrack to Merriweather Post Pavillion.
Toronto band Holy F*ck on the dance/electronica stage. In true small world fashion, a (former TTer) friend turns out to know one of the guys in the band. They were good, very creative. |

Two people skydived in and landed on the roof of the mainstage pavillion. Pretty impressive.

They were greeted by Dicky B (Richard Branson) cracking open champagne. Let's hope Dicky sprung for a good bottle. ;-). That said, thanks Dicky for the free festival!

Wicked! I've been to a couple of VFests in the UK but the weather was not as good! Nor the tickets free! Nice one.
