This was what we left yesterday.

Tom took us on a roundabout way home through this desolate area called the Panoche valley.

We had to go through the Panoche Valley so Tom could take this picture of a long-eared owl. Little bird with an attitude.

Tom stalked the loons so he could get this picture for my friend Kat.

This is what I brought home, a couple of bucks and a nasty cold.
