Rice fields ready to harvest.
One of the geocaches we found was next to the rendering plant where they render the fat of dead farm animals. It's well known in the area for it's foul smell...today it didn't really smell, Tom's just being overly dramatic!
I really wanted this picture with my little 35 mm camera for my photography class, but my camera wasn't capable...Tom's DSLR had no problem....show off!
As we were searching for geocaches we passed a farm with black sheep...sort of unusual.
We named this goat Christopher after my brother, who styles his beard in a similar fashion.
The turkey is really not an attractive bird!
Geese are arriving back in the valley.
Ducks in the slough.
This hawk was guarding one of the geocaches below him. It seemed like every other pole had a hawk sitting on it today...sort of fun to watch.
