Caching with Dad

Found a geocache in the sign...also found a cool praying mantis. Dad seems to be agitating it so it would show it's colors while Tom takes a picture. I never saw Tom's picture...not sure it came out.

Dad seems to be looking for more wildlife that he can use that stick on.

The Sacramento River near the tiny town of Tehama.

The old Tehama County Jail. There was a geocache here...there was also a sheriff sitting in his car in the shade right here. He didn't seem to be too interested in us as we found the cache.

William B. Ide, the only President of California is buried in this tiny, long-forgotten cemetary near the Sacramento River. The cemetary was refurbished not too long ago by some archeology students from Chico State.
