Big Year Butte County
2012.01.02
Tom is doing a Big Year for Butte County. That means he's trying to identify as many birds as he can this year in Butte County. So far he's identified 93 in the first two days. His searching will get much more difficult once he finds all the obvious ones.

Today he was looking for tundra swans.

These tundra swans didn't like us so close. Notice the dirty heads.
