A Leader of Birdwatchers!
2012.01.29
Tom led a group of birdwatchers today as part of the Snow Goose Festival.

They saw lots of little flittly birds like this House Wren
|
Western Bluebird
|
White Crowned Sparrow.
They didn't visit the rice fields or the refuges with the huge populations of Snow Geese. They were near the Sacramento River which is habitat for the small birds. |
