Always love visiting Michael and Nobuyo's organic farm. Great environs, heartfelt teaching of appreciation for where our food comes from.
Earth Mama clay oven for smokin' trout. Ceramics by Nobuyo, food by Michael.
Oven of a different kind, re-purposed.
More ceramics by Nobuyo. She rings that bell in front to let us know it's time to move thru the property to the next course, which trains all visitors to drool after they've hit their 3rd or 4th stop along the course. The wine pairings make us a little slow to get up.
The trout was laid in consomme' with chive flower garnish and green onions. |
Magnum Man. Benevolent overseer. Kinda reminds me of Giant Robot. But with a much higher alcohol content.
