Karen has the full attention of her Taiwanese kids.

Here's Jeff with the two boys on our trip to Sun Moon Lake.

The trip was to help the Rock Harbor Team (pictured here) to adjust from jet lag.

David and John look out over Sun Moon Lake from a tall pagoda overlooking the lake.

My first night in Hong Kong I was upgraded free to a harbor view room. But the clouds and rainy weather made it a little depressing.

This view of the Hong Kong skyline from inside one of the buildings is just a couple of blocks from the visa office where I was trying to get my visa for Taiwan.

Downtown Hong Kong can be quite attractive if the weather cooperates. These parks and plazas were packed to overflowing with Filipinas on Sunday afternoon.

Another view of the Hong Kong skyline, with the tallest building (right) disappearing into the clouds.

Everyone's hard at work (or play) in the office in our apartment in Taichung--and no computer left for dad!

From the door of the office looking across the living/dining room in our apartment. The bright yellow couch and the black chairs around the dining room table were finds from Ghost Month.

Our kitchen has a great view to the north.
