To The Ends Of The Earth Ministries--November Newsletter Photos

2007.11.08
Here's Jeff and David on one of our scooters: a convenient way to get around town, and the gas prices are just great!

Here's Karen and Johnny on our other scooter. Karen's quite the biker babe!

The flower box outside our front door needs a lot of work, but we're getting there! The bicycle was given to us by one of the members of the church.

From our kitchen window we can look down at the nearest intersection (Nantun and Dadun streets), and see the nearest 7-11 store (bottom right).

Raising our gaze, we can see way up Dadun toward the part of town in which we first lived with Jacob and Mandy when we first arrived.

On the other side of our apartment, there is a cute little park where Karen sometimes takes her kids from school.

Below us to the west is a mosque (mostly Indonesian Muslims), one of the few in Taiwan.

Next to the fancifully designed school in the center of the photo is a track where we sometimes walk. Just to the left of the track, hidden by one of the buildings, is Karen's school.

The building in the center with the red cross is Jeff's school. English classes are on the third floor, Bible classes are on the fourth floor.

Karen's school: she teaches on the 3rd and 4th floors.

Jackson Wu is the owner and founder of Karen's school.

Karen evaluates her student Jeff as part of her rubrics assessment.

A big, new Costco (a U.S. wholesale company) is opening this month just two short blocks away. We're looking forward to getting items from home that we're more familiar with.
