2008.05.03
Spot says "Let's get this show on the road!". I don't know about the "Moving Made Easier" on the side of the door. Moving is not easy.

As you can see Spot is still in the drivers seat waiting. The AC in the car went out so we had stopped at an automotive store by the house to get a quick fix before hitting the road. The truck was pulling a car dolly with my Jeep on it.

The other 2 kids - Luvey and Baby - road in the car. Of course they were not too happy about the travel carrier at all. Luvey is looking at the latch probably feeling a bit incarcerated at this point :)

As you can see - Baby is giving me that "get out of my face" look.

This pic was actually taken the next day but I wanted a shot of the car in this first posting. Yuo and I switched back and forth from driving the "monster truck" and car. The first day involved loading a 2 story 3 bedroom 2 bath house into a 26 foot moving truck - which was a chore in itself. We left Candler, NC around1:30 in the afternoon and traveled to Madison, TN (300 miles). Needless to say we were worn out when we got to Yuo's Mom and Sister's house.

The next day we woke up (I still don't know how yet - but we did). Got things ready to go again - gave our hugs, said our "see you laters", loaded up and hit the road again. Yuo's mom hated to see us go. More later........

Don't want to get to far behind on getting this up on here. Hard to believe we have already been in Albuquerque only 2 weeks. As much as we have done it seems more like a month. I worked Wednesday and Thursday (April 16 & 17th - 12 hour shifts) and then early Friday morning - the 18th - Yuo and I was at the Uhaul place before they opened to get the "26 foot" moving van to have back at the house before 8:30 to meet friends to help load us up. That is one day that I am glad is over. Anyway I will start this blog and see how many postings it takes to get through it. Love you guys!
