Sailing
Takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free
I wish I could say that today was a ride straight out of the Christopher Cross song.
It was NOT.
The ride was just a little more than an hour long.
But it felt like FOREVER.
More than half of us got sea-sick. A few even gave their essence back to the sea (if you know what I mean).
It was like a ride out of the Amusement Park from Hell.
But on arrival, it was definitely worth it.
Sabtang Island is every bit as beautiful as Batan.
We had our lunch on the Morong Beach.
I did not swim because I was busy walking around taking pictures.
And I did NOT want to wet myself today.
On the way back, things were a little bit better.
Fewer people got sea-sick (but there were still those who gave back to the sea...).
The wind was stronger.
And the waves...
the waves...
Remember I didn't swim during lunch.
The waves were so strong that I kept on catching the splashes on the ride back.
I got so wet that it looked like I fell over.
Wish I drowned myself in the beach during lunch.
