グッチ今回の新たな揺れの想定は、地グッチバッグ震学の最新の研究成果を反映させた。南海トラフのプレート（岩板）境界は深さ１０～３０キロで強く固着し、ひずみを蓄積しているとされ、従来はこの範囲を震源域とした。しかし、近年の観測でもう少し深い場所グッチ財布にもわずかな固着があり、「低周波地震」という微小地震が起きていることが判明。新想定では、この地震が起きる陸側の深部まで震源域を拡大した。
