I am fairly new to the world of vegetarianism, and people are always perplexed about what I am "allowed" to eat. I want the world to know that I can have just about anything anyone else can eat, I just have to make a few adjustments in the way the food is prepared. I don't eat meat, dairy, or eggs, so I am always on the lookout for alternatives, which I am finding there are tons!! I get my milk, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, cheese and ice cream from plant sources. I am a tester for a new vegan cookbook being put together, and I have to blog about the recipes, and post pictures, unfortunately, the blog doesn't allow picture posts, so I have to use this site, and reference it. Hope these look as mouthwatering as they taste!! I have a few of the tester recipes on here. All the others I am just trying for the fun of it. The testers I cannot give out the recipe for, but any others, feel free to ask.

That's how babies are made :p Seriously, I love those windows. Very different, and you know, one of my favorite camping trips involved renting a camping trailer, and having it downpour (nothing sounds more relaxing than rain on cheap metal), the guys were out fishing, the kids were in the pool (y...

I make black bean burgers, with different recipes, but I use the can!! Way easier. If you want to use an egg substitute, just use 1 TBSP ground flax to 2 TBSP water, and let it sit until it gets gelatenous. It's used to bind. I love your avocado and salsa. Sometimes I just eat that for dinner!...
I just LOVE avocado and its so sad I only realized I Iiked them so much when I went vegetarian and stepped out of my usual eating boundaries. Thanks for the flax seed suggestion I'll try that next time, I was just in a bind. Annnd I hope its not too hot for you in Orlando either!

Great garden!! I just planted some things this past weekend. Can't imagine starting a garden in January, heck, we had snow up until March 28th!! Very rare. So garden starting has had to wait. I am STILL waiting for the ground to dry up and the sun to come out, because I have a couple more t...
Part of this was learned by mistake, I let a lettuce plant go to flower and then seed, was going to collect the seed, missed the window, by the time I got around to collecting the seed, gone! Winter came with freezing temps and cold days, during one semi-warm day I went down to the garden, I was surprised, there were things growing in the garden path, lettuce plants, that's when I knew, this stuff is tough. I realize we both live in different climate zones, so I really don't how this may work. You might contact a local garden club to get clue on what works and when. Thanks for the reply ! I love my garden, it's a zone for me. cd

I LOVE to see baby ducks waddling behind the mommy. We have a duck pond at the entrance to our development, and many times they have stopped traffic just to cross to the other side.
This was first for me, thanks for stopping by!! I drove by there sat afternoon and a duck fence has been erected, don't know how that's going to work out. cd
