Casa Loma is the former estate of Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, a prominent Toronto financier, industrialist and military man. Sir Henry commissioned the noted architect E. J. Lennox to help him realize a life-long dream that is to create a "medieval" castle on the hill overlooking Toronto.
The construction begun in 1911 and too 300 men nearly three years to complete costing $3.5 million at that time. Sir Henry and his wife Lady Mary enjoyed Casa Loma for less than ten years before financial misfortune forced them to abandon his castle home.

An impressive castle... the pattern is simple but sharp, I love the ceiling~
