A big ball of firework exploded on board of one of the ships at the grande finale of the firework show. I believe these ships are unmanned, so hopefully no one was hurt.

The fire was eventually put off leaving a huge cloud of smoke over the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, smothering the Central Plaza (the building behind the HKCEC)
