very true. major cities back home - i'm your western neighbor - tend to make one forget of the vast majority of the world's population and the conditions they live in. for a person like myself, a visit to a farm is exotic and the life of the farmers seems inviting but if i think about your words, the reverse is probably true as well: the farmer wants my life as well.
