It was a calm evening at the Chennai Besant Nagar beachside, carefully detached from the hustle and bustle of peddlars and hawkers at the beachfront, a few hundred yards away. A pack of street lads caught my attention, with the fun and mirth they unleashed in the tranquil setting.
The photograph captures one of the lads cartwheeling on a tyre in gay abandon, blissfully oblivious of the world around him.
It was a quick shot and almost as soon as I clicked, the young boy grew consious of my prying eyes and faded quietly from the scene. One of Albert Camus' lines instantly flashed upon my mind...
"But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life"
