More from the archives. These are of Bryce Canyon. The square is from my Yashica (see yesterday's post). I think it was actually a little outside of Bryce. The others were taken with my old Sigma 35mm camera. I think I had a 35-70 lens (it's been so long since I had it). All are copies of slides. I used to shoot almost exclusively Fuji Velvia for color landscapes.

Bryce Canyon is a beautiful and very weird place. Almost other-worldly.

Yes, I used a polarizer. I often did for landscapes. That plus the Velvia plus the medium format is what make the colors so vibrant. Also, the sky is a little underexposed. vollenda · 2006-12-20: 15:00
