Zion

Ok, this is my profile photo and it's from Zion. Also taken with my Yashica. It's the only slide I have left from the Zion part of my trip. The others were ruined in the Great Rainy Tragedy the year after this was taken. I was taking a photography class at Cal Poly and one night it was pouring, pouring rain. I had my slides in a box that I thought was sealed and I ran thru the rain to class. It was cancelled! I ran back thru the rain and when I got home, I found that water had leaked in my box and the few pages that were at the bottom were ruined. This one wasn't in there at the time because one of my friends was printing it for me. It was a lucky break. I cried over those lost slides. I had a Fuji 6x9 medium format camera for a while (I sold it to buy my macro lens) and all but one of those slides were lost as well.
