Old Stump

2007.01.17



1 & 2 are of an old stump near my sister's house. It's right on the edge of a golf course so I only took a few shots as I worried about being beaned in the head!

#3 is a few months old and from a botanical garden here at thome. There were just a few slivers of light hitting it.

chipotle these are beautiful. decay is such a different process in the desert than it is here. much more dignified.

vollenda Thanks. Part of the reason was that it was right around noon when I took them so the light was pretty harsh. I liked them in color but decided to go with black & white.
