These are great shots!! Really loved them in b/w! Must be a great experience. We´ve got some safari like tours, but you can´t really get that close.

It was pretty great. When the rhinoceros came over to get the apples, he put his head in the window on the passenger's side and he rocked the truck! Only a few of the giraffes and one of the rhinos came over. The rest of the animals were looking at us like we were the exhibit.

Wonderful series and it sounds like a magical experience! Love how the animals on the second shot seem to leap out from the photo with the fantastic dof.

I was using my Tokina 400mm lens so I think that's what gives it the great DOF. Really helped isolate them.
