Cool Spike Pix

So...this is what Spike would look like if you were a mouse. Does he look scary? Do you see the lethal hunter simmering beneath the surface? No? Neither do I. :) But I don't keep him around for his hunting skills!

I took these with my new Coolpix. The top one was indoors without the flash and it's a little noisy, but not too bad. 2,3,4 were out on the balcony. I don't think Spike realized I was taking pictures of him so he didn't come stick his nose in the lens like he usually does when I'm at his level. #1 is as close as I can get to the view I see when Spike comes to wake me up in the morning, so close that I can only see him with one eye. :)

And the last one (using flash) is indoors from inside Spike's crinkle tube. He's actually stalking my fingers which I'm tapping at the other end of the tube. He stalks me on a regular basis and still likes to play even though he's almost 8. Sometimes when I look at him, I still think he's a kitten. Oh, all were taken in close-up mode.
