Morgan, my 9 year old niece. She is really a total goofball like her sister, her mom, and me. But she also has a very serious, thoughtful side. I enjoy spending time with her because she asks me questions that make me think. Many times her questions are triggered by what she's reading or seeing and I have so much fun watching her think things thru. However, there is one line of questions you wouldn't expect from a 9 year old...

So, I am single. No kids. If any of you (men or women) have ever had a family member grill you about still being single, you haven't seen anything til you've seen Morgan in action. She could work for the FBI, she's so relentless. And she gives me advice on clothes, makeup (I don't wear enough), dating, and tries to set me up (Shaggy from Scooby Doo was one memorable one!)! :) I know her goal is cousins to play with but my MOM isn't even this bad!!! Sheesh. But of course, I love her for it. :)

What a sweetheart! I don't have kids either & my niece Sarah is my love of my life! I know what you mean about having your life laid bare by the questions!!
