Happy Mother's Day! In honor of Mom's day, I'm posting photos of my mom with her gang.
I bought a book last week and I spent all day Saturday trying new stuff. The results of which you can see here. I may have gone a little overboard. I tend to do that with new toys. :)
1 - My mom with Max, taken last week. On this one, I added a digital mat and frame. And used a brush I created to add to my photos for copyright.
2 - My mom with the girls, taken last July. On this one, I made it a poster print and then added a simple title.
3 - Last but not least, my mom with my sister and I, taken a long, long, long time ago (25 years ago) at Universal Studios. I'm the one on the left. :) Sorry for the quality. I don't have a scanner yet so I just took a picture of it with my D200. Plus, it's faded since it's old. Then I added a shadow and distorted it to look like it was curling up. By the way, it was taken by my dad with my first camera - a Kodak Instamatic 110.
Oh, and the book is "The Photoshop Elements 5 Book for Digital Photographers" by Scott Kelby. It's jam packed full of good tips and very easy to follow. I really like it so far.
Interesting "mise en page". I also use book of photoshop to enhance some of my pics. Learning tricks always helps ! Beautiful set of family and tenderness shared ! Thanks for sharing them with us today.
